The Nest Cam in our opinion is one of the nicest sleek looking Cams we have seen,  with the black look and the smooth curved lines it would stand in any home and look none intrusive.

OK so enough showing what you get, lets talk about how good or bad this gadget really is, lets get on with the review.

Review of the Nest Cam Indoor Security Camera

I must say we found it difficult to fault this Cam as it has so many features that we all love and to be honest we have come to expect so much these days with any sort of Gadget, if you look at the features including Wide Angle Lens and HD streaming then it takes some beating.
There is something worth noting and even this is not really a bad thing its something to note tho, if you buy just the Nest Cam then you get everything you need to help keep your home secure and keep an eye on whats going on. There are however some additional things you can add on but would have to pay extra for.

You have first the Nest Cam, then if you want the additional Nest Aware you would pay a
monthly fee,  there are 2 options depending on either 10 day recording or 30 day.  Of course this is completely a choice but still looks very attractive.

Just checked this out again and its listed as a best seller on Amazon so must be a real winner.




Here’s a nice feature that we found out about, you can watch live streaming on more than one device and even a pretty basic feature like this could come in handy for example if one person is busy at work and the other is available to keep an eye out, 
There are other Nest items that can all be synced together in one app, like the Nest Smoke alarmsand if the smoke alarm sets of the this Camera will take pics to capture whats going on, a great feature that we hope never comes into play.
There are a couple of negative reviews in Amazon but nothing really major as far as I can see, for example banner adds run during use of the App unless you subscribe. For me not a problem but I guess for some it can be a pain.
Something I forgot to mention is the price and when you look at the quality then you would expect this to be several hundred Pounds or Dollars but the good thing is it comes in at just around $160 and usually includes free shipping so all in all not too bad, however I do realize this i my opinion and there are a few people in reviews that thing it is a bit expensive.

WiFi

The system for recording or viewing video etc will not work unless you have WiFi but lets be honest most households these days have WiFi, infact to have a smart home its almost essential.

I have seen so many times on TV Crime prevention shows that surveillance camera images can be pretty bad but the Nest Cam indoor security Camerain our opinion works really well and gives very good HD video.

The Nest Cam indoor security Camera, works with Alexa and is a number 1 Best Seller on Amazon and is rated as a 4 Star item based on over 6300  reviews.
We would have to agree with the 4 stars, in fact probably 4.5 star, the only negative we found
was the fact that you had to subscribe and pay for either 10 or 30 day recording, however the Camera and system works perfectly well without needing to keep recording for such a long period of time.
